For instructors wanting to become accredited with NPORS, you must have the appropriate qualifications and experience necessary to train and test Operators.
Qualified Instructors
These are people who hold the relevant instructors qualifications and may be joining from other recongised accrediting bodies
New Instructors
These are people wanting to become an Instructor for the first time.
NPORS Instructor criteria relevant for both applicants must
1. Have a minimum five years industry experience.
2. Hold an Instructional qualification Techniques course recognised by NPORS or attending a 10-day NPORS instructor training programme
3. Two years operating experience.
4. Hold an approved health & safety qualification or working towards.
5. Not been disqualified from another HSE accredited/awarding body within the last 5 years
6. Successfully complete a NPORS monitoring visit
