Annual Renewal Procedures for Accredited Training Provider(s) (ATP's) and Instructor(s)
Training Providers (ATP's) and Instructors are required to renew their accreditation with NPORS annually.
Renewal notification will be sent out from NPORS head office One month prior to the Expiry Date of the ATP Accreditation. This renewal notification will list the names of the instructors registered with the ATP along with the current annual registration fees.
- Please ensure that all ATP’s/Instructors details on the renewal notification are correct.
- To continue your accreditation with NPORS please complete the renewal notification and return it with the appropriate annual fees
- If monitoring is required, then details will be provided as to arranging visits. NPORS policy is to monitor all accredited ATP’s and instructors over a five yearly period.
- On completion of the above your renewed ATP certificate of accreditation and Instructor cards will be sent back to the ATP
- Any ATP’s/instructors who do not renew within 4 weeks after their expiry date may be subject to go through the full re-joining procedures.
NB Once your accreditation with the Scheme has expired, then you may no longer train or submit applications for Operator Registrations, until you renew.
Accredited Training Provider(s) (ATP’s) and Instructor(s) Terms and Conditions
NPORS registered Accredited Training Provider(s) (ATP’s) /instructors must comply with the following criteria:
- NPORS registered Accredited Training Provider(s) / Instructors are registered for the purposes of conducting training, tests and assessments within the scope of NPORS. They are prohibited to use or refer to their NPORS instructor status outside of NPORS activities.
- NPORS reserves the right to suspend and withdraw registration without notice should the NPORS terms and conditions not be complied with, or following other forms of investigations by NPORS or third parties.
- NPORS registered Accredited Training Provider(s) / Instructors must conduct themselves in an appropriate manner so as not to bring NPORS into disrepute.
- NPORS registered Accredited Training Provider(s) / Instructors must allow unrestricted access to NPORS-nominated monitoring staff whilst conducting NPORS activities.
- NPORS registered Accredited Training Provider(s) / Instructors must comply and adhere to all relevant legislation, codes of practice and other regulations that apply whilst conducting NPORS activities, and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all these items.
- NPORS registered Accredited Training Provider(s) / Instructors must ensure that all documents and forms associated with NPORS are correctly completed and processed without delay.
- NPORS registered Accredited Training Provider(s) / Instructors must maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the construction and other relevant industries, and items of plant they are registered for.
