NPORS Commercial Training Providers

Commercial Training Providers will generally fall into three categories:

Self Employed Instructors

(also classed as a Accredited Training Provider)

As a self employed Instructor you will find yourself in a prime position to be able to provide your clients with NPORS Operator Cards or to sub-contract to other NPORS Accredited Instructors/Training Providers.

You will need to complete both the Instructor and the Training Provider application forms.

Training Providers Employing Instructors

(full time or contract basis)

Training Providers who employ Instructors directly or have contracted Instructors who can only submit operator applications through them.

You will need to complete both the Training Provider application form and the Instructor application form, for all instructors that you will be employing/contracting within your business.

Training Providers Sub-Contracting Instructors Only

Training Providers who only sub-contract Instructors, depending upon the needs of their clients. These Instructors sub-contracted by this training provider are also allowed to offer their professional services to other Training Providers.

You will need to complete the Training Provider application form. You must ensure any Instructor you use for NPORS operator applications are registered for the category of plant for which the training is required and, have maintained their NPORS Accreditation.
